For our wedding day, one of the most important things we wanted to budget for was a photographer who could document the best day of our lives, all of the people involved, and our beautiful venues. The most impressive thing about Mary’s work was the feedback we received from the parents, bridal party, family and guests on her personability, professionalism, execution skills, and playfulness.
They couldn’t stop raving about her ability to instruct and execute, while also being incredibly fun and friendly. She quickly established rapport with my husband and I, our bridal party and family, making the entire event smooth and comfortable.
Leading up to the wedding, Mary offered to treat us to coffee and discuss the details of the wedding.
She wanted to ensure that she knew exactly what our wishes were. In our case, our most important photos we wanted were us with family and candid moments amongst us and guests.
We had an extensive shot list that we wanted to be executed and requested a massive group photo at the reception. She also suggested we invite her to our rehearsal (which we did) so that she could familiarize herself with the venue, the lighting, the bridal party and close family.
We are so happy we had her join us for the rehearsal, it made wedding day very smooth.
Plus, she captured and created some great content that evening - which was an unexpected bonus!
On wedding day, Mary was punctual and well organized. She eliminated so much stress for me as the bride. She took charge when she needed to and gave professional suggestions as we progressed through the morning, afternoon, and evening. Although she had a structured schedule for the day, she was always willing to be flexible and alternate plans if needed be.
As we neared the end of our celebration, Mary made sure that we captured every single photo from our shot list. Without her help, we never would have been able to wrangle up those specific groups of people and we are so grateful she stuck to the plan. Mary was there for us from beginning to end and played an integral part of our wedding day - both as a vendor and as a friend! We started receiving content from her just a day after the wedding, and she has continued timely releases of her edits. We are overjoyed with the photos she took and memories she captured for us. We are forever grateful for Mary and highly recommend her services and expertise to any couple looking for an outstanding photographer!
